Prompt Reflection
Originally, I tried using ChatGPT 5.4 Thinking. I uploaded my resume and the assignment instructions for context. I have found that giving the AI context that is related to what you are working on and what you want it to do makes the final output significantly more accurate. The problem I had with ChatGPT is that its output did not keep the formatting of my original resume, no matter what I told it to do. Another problem I had with it was that I couldn’t view or download the PDF. I then switched to using Claude Opus 4.6 Thinking. I used the same prompt with a few tweaks. I explicitly made sure to clarify exactly what I wanted it to do: output two files, keep the same format, one in PDF format and one in DOCX, just in case I needed to edit any of it to ensure it is accurate information. Overall, I have learned that providing context and explicitly explaining exactly what you need the AI to do, and giving it the right files, makes the output accurate to what you need almost every time.
