Hi, my name is Ashton Sonne, and I am a student at the University of Nevada, Reno. I am planning to major in Business and Information Systems because I enjoy working with technology and learning how businesses use information systems to solve problems and stay organized.
I grew up in the Bay Area, California, and my background has helped shape both my interests and goals. Over time, I have gained extensive experience with computers and IT-related tasks, which has made me even more interested in pursuing a career in technology. I enjoy learning how systems work, solving technical problems, and continuing to build skills that can help me succeed in an IT-related profession. Outside of school and technology, I am passionate about skiing and motorcycle riding. Skiing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I have always enjoyed it. I also started riding motorcycles in March 2025, and it has quickly become another important interest of mine. Both hobbies have taught me to appreciate challenge, focus, and enjoyment outside of academics.
One of my biggest goals is to build a successful and dependable career that allows me to support myself while also maintaining a healthy balance in life. I want to find a career path that is stable, rewarding, and connected to my interest in technology and information systems.
